It’s been a few days since the wildfires started in LA County and it seems to just keep spreading and getting worse. My heart breaks and goes out to all those affected, for the lands and forests, and for the wild animals. These wildfires are all too devastating. Prayers and actions for healing the Earth are calling out loudly. If you find a prayer in your heart I encourage you to take a moment to feel it and say it for the Earth for the people and for the animals.

In these times it seems the more we can come together and help each other the easier it will be for everyone. There is power in community.

In this time of the Great Turning,
as our world is burning,
dreams become ash and roaring rivers spill,
May you and I hand in hand summon our will
To lift our prayers to the crimson sky
Throw our arms open to the Most High
Hold strong old friends,
Stay close to each other,
And look upon all as a sister or brtoher
As we Grieve and mourn
Nature knows it won’t take long
For wildflowers to unfurl from the blackened char

From stardust to human flesh
