Good morning and Happy Winter Solstice!
Today in the Northern Hemisphere we enter our longest night and shortest daylight as the Earth tilts its farthest away from the Sun.
We are offered the opportunity of being reminded of the power of both light and dark as each is highlighted in their own ways today. During this day of the shortest period of light we can light candles as a reminder and ceremonial symbol to honor its power and sacred life giving presence within us as it fades in our outside world.
As the darkness pervades we can too sit in stillness and welcome into our consciousness the unknown, the mysterious, and the hidden yet to come into fruition.
Solstice means “to stand still” and this is the perfect opportunity to be with and honor both the light and love in our lives as well as the seeds yet to sprout.
When we do this, Wintertime can be a steady source of comfort.
How are you experiencing Winters so far?
I want to invite you to “yoga with me” on Mondays this Winter season and tap deeply into this comforting energy through working with our root chakra where we can connect with our sustenance and become grounded again. By doing this our bodies open and aches and pains can shift and release.
This is a donation based offering to help us move through the winter with ease and grace.
To attend the class simply email me with the heading: Monday Yoga to receive the donation and class links by 10:30 am next Monday. :
At 10:30 am each Monday I will send the zoom link out to those that have alerted me they will be in attendance.
If you are looking for 1:1 support please email me to get on the schedule for acupuncture, energy clearing and coaching, or private yoga.
I look forward to wintering with you and supporting you,
