The feeling of Spring is officially in the air, and new beginnings on the horizon. As some things come to an end, the longer days and more sunlight usher in new possibilities that have been brewing just underneath the surface. Chinese medicine defines Springtime as representing growth and creation. You can clearly see this happening in nature. You can look at the ground as we walk outside, looking at the flowers and plants bursting through the ground. This is just like our plans and thoughts that have been incubating throughout the Winter months that are ready to see the light.
In Chinese Medicine, health is defined as being able to adapt and harmonize with the movement and energy of what is going on all around us in nature. Spring with all of its upward moving creative energy is the time to help these plans come to fruition. Making plans and decisions help our growth and is the power inherent behind healthy Springtime energy. It’s time to break through old habits that were not moving you forward and to blossom and grow into a newer version of yourself. This is truly living in harmony with the Spring. This transition time just before Spring starts officially is the perfect time to pay close attention to what we want to manifest in the coming months, and what it was that was holding us back. Clarify your wishes and then move forward to make them manifest!
Happy creating and happy Spring!!
